TJ & Spinelli in Detention
This short fic was about two of the main characters of the show (Spinelli and TJ) being stuck in detention during recess and told to think about the consequences of what they had done. However instead of thinking about this, both pondered changes, whether they had changed since the previous school grades and whether they would change once they entered high school. I enjoyed this fic because I believed they have captured the characteristics of each character well and the plot also seems believable as something that could actually happen on the show.
This fic was about Helga and Arnold having an argument about whether they should/shouldn't save their neighborhood "Hillwood" from being demolished. Arnold being the one wanting it to be saved. I did not enjoy this fic for a variety of reasons. Firstly, because although it was clear and reasonably well written I believe they used too big of a vocabulary for the intended audience of 'Hey Arnold'. After all they are only supposed to be 9/10years old Secondly, in my opinion the ending was not very believable, as I do not believe Helga would randomly declare her love for Arnold after such an argument, proceed to kiss him and then decide to leave him. As a person who watched this as a child, I find that I wouldn't have followed such a complex storyline at that age.
This is a short fic based on one of the main characters "Sam". It describes how he had moved to a new state and feels that he will never belong as he is short and nerdy and the people he's met there are tall, tanned and enjoy playing sports. This story then shows how he begins to feel included within a group of children similar in age to him despite his differences and that he does belong/fit with them even if it is in a different way that he expected or was used to. I found that this was a good storyline and fit the characters and even the show well. I could almost see this as an episode on the show, however there were a few spelling and grammar mistakes that made it seem more amateur and more draft-like and almost ruined the story.
This is a Rugrats fic that includes a new character Sarah who is an adopted older sister of dil and tommy that was apparently established in the author's previous fics. The fic was about a rule Angelica made up that stated that sisters had to obey everything their brother said or they would be sent away and brothers had to boss them around or the same would happen. I believe that this was a good, original story-line and was something I could see actually happening. However strange it was seeing their baby-talk written down, the writer really captured the characters and their personalities well, right down to how they pronounced certain words like "ascared" vs scared. 
This Fanfiction was based on the movie surrounding the show the Wild Thornberrys. It was about Eliza getting kidnapped by the villains (who were established in the original movie who wanted to know if she could really speak to animals) and how she or her family would be able to get her back. I do not believe that this story was very well written as they had many spelling errors, and in some places the text didn't even make sense. Even though the characters were portrayed correctly in some of the story, I believe that this was an unnecessary addition to the original movie and was not very believable.
